# 1 Pont du GardPosted by kiwisa (North Shore, New Zealand) on 3 March 2010 in Architecture and Portfolio. A UNESCO World heritage site, the Pont du Gard is an aqueduct believed to have originally been built by Augustus' son-in-law and aide, Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, around the year 19 BC .
