Waihi Station

The Karangahake Gorge Historic track partly follows the old railway line to Waihi where we stopped for lunch at the historic station cafe. The station is the most complete on its original site in New Zealand. You can catch the Goldfields train and enjoy a nostalgic journey from Waihi to Waikino , however we cycled back to our car at the tunnel end of the track
