The ferry sailed past The Noises , a rocky group of islands in the Hauraki Gulf. The waters around them are important breeding grounds for fish and a great fishing spot for fishermen.

Looks beautiful, is this anything like to Poor Knight Islands as it's long been on my list to dive there because of the marine life?

@Doug: Not sure it is like Poor Knights or Goat Island for diving, but my husband has fished here and been successful.
Looks like a great place to snorkel-maybe a bit cold though?
