#1 Serengeti National Park - Ndabaka entrance gate

Posted by
kiwisa (North Shore, New Zealand) on 1 November 2018 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Here starts my Serengeti collection.
As we drive through the gates, the safari experience begins and I'm prepared with my cameras; 7D II with 100-400mm lens & 1.4mm extender and my old 7D with 24-85mm. This trip we spent four nights in the Serengeti, my top priority to see some of the Great Migration. We certainly saw lots of migration, but were also rewarded with sightings we had never seen before.
Today I will start sharing my favourite moments with you all.

@By Marie: Oh Marie, I do love the Serengeti, and also fell in love with the Masai Mara. I love that the animals can live exactly as they should ...wild and free.

Excellent look at the entrance to this famous national park. Your images from your trip to Africa are superb. I am very concerned about poaching in Africa especially for the ivory trade. I think this cruel trade must stop and very soon. It is your wonderful images I want to see of animals not pictures of poached animals. You are doing a great job showing all what is good with animals enjoying safe habitats. 5*

@Shaun: I agree Shaun, sadly there are only a few places left where the animals can live as they should without the threat of poachers and hunters. I was born in Africa so feel a real connection to the land. Thanks for your comments, they are always appreciated.
