#19 Serengeti - Ruppells vulture

Posted by
kiwisa (North Shore, New Zealand) on 19 November 2018 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

The vultures in the Serengeti have so much food during the migration. We would see huge trees decorated with dozens of them, waiting for the next opportunity to eat scraps.

Love these birds! Most people don't but they have a special appeal. Would love to get my hands on some of those feathers for macro shots.
